    thumbnail of driagram

is there a fast way to generate a thumbnail image of the diagram that i can insert into the diagram itself?

also if I insert the thumbnail into the diagram as, say, a shape - how can I hold the thumbnail in a visible position

say the top right of the viewing window?

for example when the user scrolls the thumbnail needs to stay visible.

it would need to be fast as I am hitting some performance problems already when generating my diagrams.

    thanks

Have a look at the Overview control, this will automatically keep track of a diagram at a 1:10 scale. See the Diagram Studio application for an example of this in action. The programmer's guide also includes a section on using this control.
